Investment Visa Overview

Australia Residency & Citizenship options

Australia offers a number of options for residency by investment, each with its own benefits. The Business Talent Programme is Australia's primary skilled migrant programme. It is designed to attract highly talented and skilled individuals who can contribute to Australia's economy. The programme has two streams: the Permanent Residence stream and the Provisional Residence stream. The Permanent Residence stream is for applicants who have been nominated by an Australian state or territory government agency or Austrade. The Provisional Residence stream is for applicants who have been nominated by an Australian employer.

Australia's Investor Programs

The Entrepreneur Stream is designed for people who want to establish a new business or develop an existing business in Australia. Applicants must meet certain criteria, including age, English language proficiency, work experience and investment requirements. They must also pass a points-based assessment.

The Significant Investor Stream is for people who want to invest at least $5 million in Australia. Applicants must be willing to make a complying investment and must meet certain other criteria, including age, English language proficiency and residence requirements. They must also pass a points-based assessment.

The Premium Investor Stream is for people who want to invest at least $15 million in Australia.
