  • Naturalization can be given to a foreigner who has met the residency requirement and has regularly resided in Cape Verdean territory for at least five years, is regarded of age or emancipated by Cape Verdean State legislation, possesses moral or civil fitness, and has the competence to care for himself/herself and provide for himself/herself.
